GBCPR has been appointed to provide media training and advice on key messaging to the Acting Chief Executive of the Fawcett Society.

The Fawcett Society is the UK’s leading campaigning group working to close the inequality gap between women and men.

The roots of the organisation can be traced back to 1866 when Millicent Fawcett began leading the peaceful campaign for women’s votes. Moving into the 1980s, Women’s Action Day signalled Fawcett’s transformation from an extremely well-respected, but comparatively little-known body’ to the professional and better-known organisation they are today.

GBCPR provide bespoke media and presentation skills training, specifically tailored to the needs of your organisation.

“Presenting your case to an often hostile media requires certain skills. If your key staff are armed with these skills, your organisation will benefit from increased public confidence. GBCPR can train spokespeople to handle even the most grueling interview’” commented GBCPR’s Managing Director’ Geoffrey Bowden, who provided the one-to-one training to the Fawcett Society.

For further details of media and presentation skills training please contact Geoffrey Bowden on 01273 622212.
