GBCPR, representing the interests of the British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL), is working with the steering committee for the inaugural meeting of Digestive Diseases Foundation (DDF) meeting planned for 17-20 June 2012. The event, taking place at the Liverpool ACC’, is expected to attract up 5000 clinicians.

The integrated meeting will bring together the professional expertise of groups across gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition in an integrated meeting. Apart from BASL, the other participating medical societies are The British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG), The Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons of Great Britain (AUGIS) and The British Association for the Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN).

The consultancy is coordinating the scientific programme for BASL at the DDF, including speaker liaison and organisation and marketing for the event.
